Mr. Thamarai Manalan brings over 20 years of experience in global marketing within the upstream Oil & Gas sector and mineral industries. A Chemical Engineer from Madras University, he began his career with Halliburton as a mud engineer, where he specialized in offshore drilling operations and developed deep technical expertise.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Manalan has cultivated strong professional relationships with global energy leaders, including Halliburton, British Gas, Maurel et Prom, Tullow Oil (South Africa), Dominion Oil, and Pan Africa Energy.

He is widely recognized for his strategic vision, technical acumen, and unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality, timely solutions. Under his leadership, United Petro Group has successfully diversified into renewable energy and aviation, reflecting his dynamic and forward-looking approach to global energy challenges.

Mr. Manalan is also deeply involved in the proposed “Bharat Aerospace Tech Park” project in India, a pioneering initiative fully funded by United Resource Group International & United Petro Group , underscoring his commitment to advancing innovation and self-reliance in India’s aerospace sector.
