Storage Demand

    • >
Even after the pandemic hit the world in 2019, there has been a rising demand in storage facilities across the world. We have identified that there is evergreen demand in the South-East Asian region
    • >
All the available floating vessels are fully booked at the port of Tanjong Pelepas, Malaysia and the port has stopped taking new vessels.
    • >
Now Port Dickson is accepting vessels to be as floating storage in the region, and this is the      opportunity being proposed. We would like to fill the demand in this region and have an Aframax vessel as a floating storage, serving to the demand in the region.

UPG is currently handling two buyers for Gasoil EN590 – 10ppm

    • 200,000 MT monthly - Tanjong Pelepas
    • 50,000 MT monthly to East CAPE, South Africa (blending will be done at Al Fujairah)

Storage Demand

Expanding UPG operations by using our Malaysian Experiences to South Africa and Namibia presents significant opportunities, especially given the substantial demand for petroleum products in these regions. Here's how you can proceed:

    Understanding the Market and Demand:

South Africa: PetroSA, the national oil company, frequently issues tenders for various services and supplies. For instance, recent tenders include the transportation of equipment from Norway to South Africa and the supply of specific equipment to PetroSA's Mossel Bay facility.

Namibia: NAMCOR, the Namibian government entity, has shown interest in procuring petroleum products. They have previously issued tenders for the construction of retail fuel stations and other infrastructure projects.

    Partnering with Local Entities:
